In 2023, a Miscellaneous Economic Provisions Bill containing a number of important amendments relating to copyright has been prepared. The text will be submitted to Parliament for a vote in 2024.
In 2023, IPObel signed a new cooperation agreement with the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO). That collaboration stands for considerable aid and support for SMEs.

In 2023, IPObel’s Contact Point dealt with 1,777 questions from businesses and citizens in addition to the 388 questions directly answered by the FPS Economy’s Contact Center.
